One of the biggest allures of visiting Australia is for its breathtaking landscapes (just steer clear of giant spiders and snakes). Natural Habitat Adventures is tapping into that magic with an epic new trip – the Ultimate Australia Safari. Launching in 2024, the 21-day adventure covers the whole continent, from northern Queensland to Tasmania in the Southern Ocean and all the points in between.
The safari will give you in-depth visits to eight national parks, seven private wildlife sanctuaries, four World Heritage Sites, and a variety of exclusive experiences along the way, like boat safaris and bush walks – designed to have a more meaningful encounter with Australia’s amazing nature and wildlife.
If you’ve never been to Australia, this is the GOAT of all trips because you’ll get to see places like the ancient Daintree Rainforest, the volcanic Atherton Tablelands, the Great Barrier Reef, Tasmania’s mountains and lakes, the rugged Outback of the Ikara-Flinders Ranges and Kangaroo Island. The second most alluring thing about the land down unda, are the animals and yes, you might even get up-close with some of the locals like koalas, kangaroos, wombats, wallabies, pademelons, platypus’, cassowaries, crocodiles, quolls, echidnas, goannas, and the Tasmanian devil, NBD.
For accommodations, you’ll stay in places in nature, with a unique atmosphere, and that are mostly sustainable and environmentally-conscious, like a fly-in ecolodge on a remote barrier reef island or an Outback safari camp under the stars in the Flinders Ranges.
