In the small Icelandic town of Gimli, Manitoba, the most adrenaline-fueled winter sports and coolest ice party happened. Every year, Mercedes-Benz AMG Driving Academy builds a one-of-a-kind ice track right on Lake Winnipeg, where you can learn to perfect winter driving, then speed and drift on an icy terrain.
Which is exactly what we did, with some of Mercedes-Benz’ highest performing vehicles.
This year was extra special, with the first ever Mercedes-Benz Garage Gigs in an actual ice garage – made of 350 blocks of ice, with performances by local Vancouverites, Said The Whale and Toronto’s own, Arkells.
