Birdies Eats & Drinks, a Cali-inspired restaurant with a sunny attitude and a laid back atmosphere, recently opened up in Metro Vancouver for lunch, dinner, drinks and weekend brunch, with happy hour and late night happy hour features daily.
The stylish, mid-century modern vibe has flavor-driven food and drinks made with fresh, high quality ingredients, served in a casual, trendy dining room, spacious lounge, 20-seat terrazzo countertop bar or a 75 seat sun-filled patio.
Developed by Chef David Wong, the Birdies menu is shareable and healthy-ish (our fav word) with “fresh, light and bright food that fills you”. Meaning they have dishes like the Unholy Guacamole, Spicy Thai Cauli Wings, Crispy Birria Tacos, salads, a Middle Eastern Bowl and obviously poké. There are also pizzas, pastas and mains to cover all the bases. Brunch lovers check out the Poached Pear Dutch Baby Pancake and Aloha Bowl on the weekends from 10am – 2pm and half priced bubbles on Saturdays + Sundays.
Birdies bar program leans into the sunny vibe with an emphasis on fresh-squeezed juice, crushable cocktails, sustainably grown wines, sessionable beers, and delicious spirit free drinks. Margaritas makeup the heart of the cocktail menu. The classic fresh squeezed Margarita features fresh lime juice and 100% agave tequila. It comes individually on the rocks or in a retro, shareable two-litre dispenser. Yes, please!
