Canada hosts its second Senior Men’s Fifteens match at BC Place against the Maori All Blacks. The Maori perform their traditional war cry called “Haka” as they are the indigenous Polynesian people of New Zealand. Doors open at 6pm and kick-off is at 7:00pm; tickets start at $20.

Burnaby-born national treasure and professional athlete Christine Sinclair once again leads the Canadian Women’s National Soccer Team into battle against fierce rival USA. The Americans are currently ranked 1st by FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking. While this is a friendly match, the 2012 London Summer Olympics heartbreaking loss which resulted in Silver remains a scar by Canadian sports fans. The team also walked the podium in the 2016 Rio Games with Bronze. Over 22,000 people are expected to attend the match at BC Place.
