Summer may soon be over, but that doesn’t mean that the fun has to end.  September is jam-packed with tons of activities and events. Here’s a round-up of the best:

19  Summerset Yoga
London Heritage Farm is the setting of a free outdoor yoga experience presented by Lululemon Athletic (Richmond Centre) to reflect back on summer and set intentions forth for the fall.

16  18 Heirloom Tomato Fest

15  TriCities Cask Festival
Over 25 breweries from all around British Columbia celebrate cask ale in Port Moody along with food vendors and live entertainment.

14  Mirage
The virtual experience and art installation – MIRAGE at Metropolis at Metrotown runs until September 5th and features a dynamic visual, audio and digital experience to fully be immersed in.

13   Team Canada Men’s Soccer
The Canadian men’s national soccer team takes on El Salvador in a 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia Qualifier at BC Place Stadium.

12   Oasis Beach Club (CANCELED)
Second Beach Pool at Stanley Park will transform into Oasis Beach Club for an end-of-summer pool cabana-style fundraiser benefitting Canuck Place Children’s Hospice with live music and art presented by The Social Concierge.

11   Anniversary of Star Trek Celebration

The best of Vancouver’s street food scene will converge for this one-day family-friendly free event. There will be 30 handpicked food trucks and carts plus live music and face painting at the Concord Pacific parking lot at 88 Pacific Blvd.

4  Me Too Vol. 5
This free mental health speaker series at the SFU Goldcorp Centre for the Arts is hosted by Me Too Conversations via the Vancouver General Hospital Foundation. To help break the stigma, mental illness stories will be shared plus key note speeches by doctors on innovative research.

 West End Food Festival
The annual Vancouver West End Food Festival includes workshops and events aimed at community building, social inclusion, urban farming and food preparation.  There’s a special pop-up potluck for free at Nelson Park Community Gardens on the 15th!
