Parq Vancouver, the city’s newest newest entertainment destination is officially open! This stunning space is Canada’s FIRST ever JW Marriot Luxury facility and the largest private development in British Columbia. Featuring two luxury and lifestyle hotels, a wide-range of amenities, a world-class casino and more – Parq is the closest you’ll get to experiencing Vegas in the city, with a West Coast vibe.  Hoping to make Vancouver a global destination, some of its best features include:

11 Vegas-style Casino

With 600 slot machines, including high level slot area equipped with chargers and table trays, and 18 table games, there’s no shortage of entertainment guaranteed to appease gamers.

Unlike any other casino in the world, this one has floor to ceiling windows and clocks everywhere so you can still get to enjoy the beautiful Vancouver views and have your entertainment at the same time without feeling like a complete degenerate.

10 State-of-the-art salons

The second and third floor high-level gaming areas are bathed in natural light, a result of floor-to-ceiling windows.  Two high limit salons with 6 private salons are decked out in crystal chandeliers and provide access to any of the restaurants and bars, for a more lux experience.

8 Entire Conference Level

Redefining the meeting space experience, one of Parq’s most impressive features is the 60,000 square feet of event space.  This space is comprised of three ballrooms, 12 conference rooms, and freight elevators to transport vehicles for those of you wanting to show off some luxury supercars.

One of the three ballrooms is the largest in Western Canada at 15,000 square feet and can accommodate up to 1,200 people.

Another ballroom is the perfect space for a wedding or social event, with sweeping  floor to ceiling windows that are 18 feet high!

6 24-hour Service

For those who end up in the casino passed the regulars hours, in true Vegas-style, a take-out window from BC Kitchen will be at your beckon call right in the casino, so you don’t have to leave when you’re on a high.  24-hour restaurant room service is also available from many of the other restaurants as well.

5 30,000 square-foot rooftop park

You literally don’t ever have to leave the complex. Up on the 6th floor, there lies a park, decked out in full sized trees, water features, art features and relaxing areas. You can even see some of the best views of downtown Vancouver.

4 JW Spa

No luxury lifestyle facility is complete without a spa. The JW spa features an aqua lounge, hot tub, and outdoor zen garden, indoor/outdoor yoga and a world-class fitness centre, that’s accessible by both hotels.

10 suites, designed by Vincent Celano and created by Rob Wells, are located between the seventh and 17th floors, and are designed for the experiential traveler.

JW Marriot

Marriot’s luxury hotel brand, these room are light-filled, warm, and welcoming, just like at home.  Featuring 329 guest rooms, including two presidential rooms and a two-story suite complete with an outdoor terrace.

Douglas Hotel

The autograph collection of Marriot, the Douglas Hotel has its own funky personality and is named after the douglas fir.  A  douglas fir centerpiece welcomes guests in the lobby/art gallery.

188 guest rooms are available, including 10 suites, three penthouse suites with rooftops ideal for entertaining or hosting executive parties.  Guests will experience an authentically local experience and will find in their rooms, local gin, a water carafe with charcoal sticks, antioxidizing douglas fir tea (naturally) and Aesop amenities.  A fitness centre is also located within the hotel.

This bright and charming restaurant will make you feel like you’re right at home. With a focus on farm-to-table dining, Honey Salt is run by wife and husband duo restaurateur Elizabeth Blau and Canadian Chef Kim Canteenwalla, and draws inspiration from the PNW.

The Sports-On-TV Spot

Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Watch your favourite sports teams and grab a bite at this trendy sports tavern! The food here is as approachable as the environment and features menu items like root beer floats, pizza and their must-try frosted flake French toast! (You’ll thank us.)

Market East

The On-The-Go Spot

Delight your taste-buds at Market East with a fusion of Malaysian, Thai, Vietnamese, and Indian cuisine. This canteen-style restaurant has a wall adorned with stamps from Vietnam, as well as a large community table in the centre.

The Market East café serves up  bubble tea and chinese baked goods. Grab-and-go items like salads and sushi are also available.

For unique pairings and the largest brown spirits collection, look no further than the Lotus Whiskey and Tea Lounge. This New Orleans-style bar is the perfect spot for a delicious nightcap.

The Classy Spot

Featuring chic décor, a tea trolley at the table, and live seafood tank, this Chinese restaurant will leave a lasting impression on you and your guests.  1886 is the year Chinatown formed, hence how the restaurant got its name.

Menu ranges from $6 to $52 and is also a part of the 24-hour service food menu.  Must try: Dim sum lunch.
