9 Hiking

We’re insanely lucky to have immediate access to the mountains, and it would be a huge shame to not take advantage of Mother Nature’s peaks.

6 Tennis

Serena Williams didn’t become Serena Williams overnight.

Stanley Park Tennis Courts (8901 Stanley Park Drive) and the tennis courts at Kitsilano Beach are both great courts that get tons of action.

5 Parkour

Overcome obstacles, get from point A to point B-Z and get creative with parkour! In Vancouver, there are tons of urban spots to get your parkour on from the steps at the Vancouver Art Gallery to playgrounds.  Not for everyone, this outdoor activity is reserved for ninjas.

4 Calisthenics

Try saying “calisthenics” three times in a row. But seriously. If you’ve never heard of a calisthenics workout – you’re not alone.  Forget using weights or bands. This form of exercise focuses on using the weight of your own body to build muscle and create definition. If you’re up for the challenge and willing to put in the time and practice, practice, practice, calisthenics can help you transform into a shredded machine.
