It’s spring concert season in Vancouver! There’s big names in town like Snoop Dogg, The Weeknd and John Mayer plus unique musical experiences like the Game of Thrones live concert, Reggie Watts from The Late Late Show with James Corden and a tribute to Frank Sinatra.

15 I Love The 90’s Tour
Saturday, April 22nd 2017
Abbotsford Centre

 Push it! Push it real good! Abbotsford is going 90’s hip-hop with Vanilla Ice, TLC, Salt-N-Peppa, Rob Base, All For One, Color Me Badd and Young MC.

Saturday, April 1st 2017 – 8pm
Rogers Arena

This isn’t an April Fool’s Day joke. Game of Thrones fans can experience their favourite HBO show live in concert. The show features composer Ramin Djawadi with an 80-piece orchestra and choir performing some of the series best musical scores. It’s also an immersive experience with a 360-degree stage, LED telescoping and wall screens, and 3D designs rising from stage.

13  Asia on Tour: Miyavi, Slot Machine, Kiha & The Faces
Saturday, April 1st 2017 – 7pm
Venue

Live Nation presents “Asia on Tour” to showcase the new wave of Asian music across North America. The tour kicks off in Vancouver and visits another 13 cities around the continent. Featuring Miyavi from Japan, Slot Machine from Thailand and Kiha & The Faces from Korea.

12  The Tea Party
Saturday, April 1st 2017 – 8pm
Commodore Ballroom

Canadian rock band The Tea Party reunited a few years ago so we can all party like it’s 1999. Their uniquely progressive rock with Indian and Middle Eastern influences has garnered them 3 People’s Choice Awards and a Juno.  And no they’re not associated with the American political Tea Party group movement.

11  A Night With Sinatra and Friends
Wednesday, April 5th 2017 – 7:30pm
Queen Elizabeth Theatre

A tribute to the Chairman of the Board featuring comic & impressionist Rick Michel. You get to relive a classic variety show with all of Frank’s greatest hits and guests.

10  City and Colour
Thursday, April 6th 2017 – 8pm
Queen Elizabeth Theatre

Ontario’s Dallas Green from Alexisonfire performs under his alias City and Colour. The 36 year-old brings his own flavour of acoustic-folk music full of melody. He’s married to Canadian TV host Leah Miller.

9  Motown Meltdown
Saturday, April 8th 2017 – 7pm
Commodore Ballroom

Presented by Nicola Wealth Management and in support of Seva Canada, this year’s Motown Meltdown promises an evening full of soul, rhythm and blues. Canadian vocalists backed by a 12-piece band will have you singing and dancing to some Motown classics like “Dancing In The Street” and “Papa Was A Rolling Stone”.

Reggie Watts
Sunday, April 9th 2017 – 9pm
Vogue Theatre

Self-proclaimed “disinformationist” and house band leader for The Late Late Show with James Corden just needs his voice, a keyboard and a looping machine to entertain an audience. He’s also got the beatboxing, comedic and acting chops to boot. The hair and outfits are just a bonus.

Good Charlotte
Monday, April 10th 2017 – 8pm
Commodore Ballroom

American alternative pop punk band Good Charlotte returned to the scene a couple years ago after a 4-year-long hiatus.  The multi-MTV award winning band from Waldorf, Maryland dropped their 6th studio album Youth Authority last year.

Friday, April 14th 2017 – 8pm

Snoop D O double G brings his Wellness Retreat Tour to Vancouver with Berner, Cypress Hill, Method Man and Redman. Welcome to Mount Kushore, a night of rap, hip hop, gin & juice and probably a lot of BC Bud.

Saturday, April 15th 2017 – 8pm

Inspired by Prozac to make people feel good and happy, Toronto’s pop duo Prozzäk are known for their fully animated music videos. They released their 4th studio album Forever 1999 this year and also stop in Victoria and Kelowna on the BC leg of their Canadian tour.

American singer-songwriter and guitarist who previously schmoozed with the likes of Jennifer Love Hewitt, Jessica Simpsons, Minka Kelly, Jennifer Aniston, Katy Perry and the infamous Taylor Swift might woo some Vancouverites too. He’s joined by guests LANY, a 3-piece alternative band from LA.

Going hard since 1993, Jimmy Eat World released their 9th studio album Integrity Blues last year. Their blend of alternative rock and emo / pop punk has adapted well with the times. They’re joined by Beach Slang.

UBC Thunderbird Arena

British indie pop and electropop band released their 2nd studio album Wild World last year which reached #1 on the U.K and Scottish album charts. They bring their sounds over the pond to Vancouver at UBC.
